Heavy rains caused flash floods on Sunday in a mountainous region of northwestern Vietnam.<br /><br />A dramatic video showed floodwaters surging down a river in Lao Cai province.<br /><br />According to the filmer, the extent of the damage from the flooding is not yet known although towns and villages have been cut off.
