Security forces on Sunday launched an operation in Kulgam and killed two militants in the ongoing encounter.<br /><br />The encounter broke out at Cheedar area of Qaimoh of South Kashmir's Kulgam district when searches had started.<br /><br />"Two militants have been killed," said an official. The operation is on. The killings came just two days after security forces killed three Islamic State affiliates in Anantnag’s Khiram area.
