South Korea is selecting candidates today.... for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War, slated for August.<br /> The South Korean Red Cross is selecting 5-hundred people.... out of the registered 57-thousand separated family members by computer... and it started at 11 AM Korea time.<br />Those who are older and have immediate family members north of the border had higher chance of being chosen as a candidate.<br />Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to hold family reunions for a week starting August 20th at North Korea's Mount Kumgang resort..., with 1-hundred participants from each side. <br />
