More than 1,500 pigeons bearing LED lights were released into the night sky in East London over the weekend. <br /><br />The project was the result of an artwork called 'Fly By Night' by US artist Duke Riley. <br /><br />The event was held in Thamesmead and was a homage to WWI messenger pigeons.
