North Korea skips annual anti-U.S. rally amid further signs that ties are improving since summit

North Korea has decided NOT to hold its annual (quote) "anti-United States rally" this year. <br />The move is being seen as a public gesture to improve its relations with Washington following the Singapore summit on June 12th. <br /> The AP reports that Pyongyang skipped the rally which is held annually on June 25th, the day in 1950 when the Korean War broke out.<br />It explained that more than 100-thousand North Koreans gathered for last year's rally.<br />North Korea also decided not to release its customary "anti-U.S. imperialism postage stamps,... which are normally released for a month at this time of year. <br />
