The 1MDB probe has nothing to do with Umno and there is no reason for the party to be alarmed, said information chief Annuar Musa.<br /><br />According to Annuar, Umno had no knowledge of what transpired in 1MDB and was never briefed on any of the dealings handled by the state-owned company.<br /><br />He was asked to respond to a report by The Malaysian Insight which quoted sources as claiming that enforcement agencies were probing some 1,000 people, including politicians suspected to have been paid with 1MDB funds.
