Four-term Sekinchan state assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim has been elected by the Selangor legislative assembly as the new speaker. <br /><br />His deputy will be two-term Paya Jaras assemblyperson Mohd Khairuddin Othman, a former PAS man who joined PKR before the 14th general election. <br /><br />Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari nominated Lim for the position and it was seconded by Bandar Baru Klang assemblyperson Teng Chang Khim.
