황석영, 프랑스 에밀 기메 아시아문학상 수상<br /><br /> Over in France..., a South Korean novelist... is awarded the ( )Emile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature.<br />The Guimet Museum of Asian Art announced Hwang Sok-yong earned the recognition on Monday, local time... for his novel "At Dusk".<br /> The prize was inaugurated for the first time last year, to honor the works of Asian authors who published in French.<br />Hwang's book portrays contrasting lives of a successful architect in his 60s... and a young theater producer who barely make ends meet, both looking back at their lives 'at dusk'.<br />Five other Asian authors, including novelists from India and China, were also shortlisted. <br />
