<p>A double car bombing rocked the northern Syrian city of Afrin on June 27, killing at least eight people and injuring more than 20, according to local sources</a>.</p><p>The first car bomb was reported by local activists to have exploded near Turkish soldiers</a>. (Storyful has not independently confirmed this.)</p><p>There was a second explosion at the city’s Kawa Square, near a base of the Jabha al-Shamia opposition faction, according to multiple reports.</p><p>Pro-opposition sources had reported</a> earlier on June 27 that fighting had erupted between rebel factions in the city.</p><p>This footage was shared by a local activist in Afrin and shows Kawa Square in the wake of one of the blasts.
