Monsoon rains are battering the southern coastal regions today. <br /><br /> The rain has picked up compared to earlier, and heavy rain alerts have been expanded to more areas.<br /><br /> Busan is under a heavy rain warning now, while Gwangju, Jeju Island and the southern coastal regions are under advisories. <br /><br /> Up to 150 millimeters of rain could come down, and the central regions could see passing showers in the evening. <br /><br /> Temperature-wise, southern regions will notice highs 1 to 5 degrees lower than yesterday, Gyeongju, Daejeon and Daegu will get up to 27 degrees Celsius.
