<p>When ‘Wannabe Entomologist’ Lisa Van Kula Donovan tore open a months-old egg sac laid by a golden orb spider in her Queensland home, she was surprised to find that the baby spiders nesting inside were alive and well.</p><p>In the video uploaded to Instagram on June 24, Donovan said she’d believed it to be a “bad sac” as it had remained dormant for so long.</p><p>“Oh my god, they’re alive!” she can be heard saying in the video as the babies emerge.
