<br /> News broke earlier today that Jared Leto will play Michael Morbius, the tragic antihero.<br />According to ComicBook, Morbius is the subject of the Sony Marvel Universe’s upcoming spinoff movies.<br />Variety reported that his solo Joker film will not conflict with the Morbius role.<br />In Marvel Comics, Michael Morbius was a scientist searching for a cure to his own rare blood disease.<br />One of his experiments gave him the characteristics of a vampire, a thirst for blood and an aversion to sunlight.<br />Many are curious to see how Leto does as Morbius, the character is markedly different than the villain he portrays in Suicide Squad. <br />
