<p>More than 400 Syrians displaced by fighting left Arsal, Lebanon, to return to territory controlled by the Syrian government north of Damascus on June 28.</p><p>They are the first group to return from Syria to Lebanon under an agreement between Lebanese security forces and the Syrian government. The Syrian news agency said</a> they would be returning to villages in al-Qalamoun, located northwest of Damascus, where many fled fighting in 2013 and 2014.</p><p>In April</a>, Syrian government forces conducted an offensive on opposition militia in al-Qalamoun, retaking control of the area.</p><p>This footage was streamed live from Arsal on Facebook by a local news page, and shows trucks packed with mattresses and people driving down the road, and a gathering of people and vehicles along with Lebanese security forces.
