The European Union has reached a much-needed compromise on tackling the migration crisis affecting the continent.<br />Under mounting pressure from Italy and certain other member states, the EU's powerhouses -- France and Germany -- agreed on Friday after several hours of crunch talks in Brussels to tougher regulations.<br />Under the deal, migrants can no longer choose in which EU country they will live.<br />There will also be migrant centers established in non-EU countries.<br />In addition, more support will be given to Mediterranean countries which have been bearing the brunt of the crisis.<br />The International Organization for Migration says about 56-thousand mostly African migrants have arrived in Europe so far this year. <br />
