<p>Smoke clouds rose above buildings in Nawa, Syria</a>, located northwest of Daraa, on June 29 after reports of airstrikes.</p><p>The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said</a> war planes targeted towns northwest of Daraa with airstrikes, and local news footage said</a> the populations of those cities has fled from the strikes.</p><p>Syrian government forces reported taking control of villages to the northeast of Daraa, Syrian state news agency SANA said</a>.</p><p>The fighting has displaced as many as 120,000 people from Daraa and the countryside to the Jordanian and Israeli borders, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said</a>.
