<p>Police in Aransas Pass, Texas, said they were called to the parking lot of a local Walmart early on June 27 after a customer spotted an eight-foot alligator outside.</p><p>Police told local media</a> that the Texas Parks and Wildlife were also called to help detain the alligator, which was on its way back to a nearby pond.</p><p>No one was injured and the gator was taken into the custody of Texas Parks and Wildlife, reports said.
