<p>They look more like Muppets now, but this trio of adorable tieke chicks are the only known hand-reared chicks of their kind.</p><p>Also known as saddlebacks</a>, the Auckland Zoo says the breed is in recovery after conservation efforts for the native bird were successful.</p><p>This video shows a keeper at the zoo hand feeding the chicks rat pups and papaya.
