Democracy Activists March in Hong Kong to Mark 21st Anniversary of Chinese Rule

<p>A pro-democracy march took place in Hong Kong on July 1, the 21st anniversary of the handover of control to China from the UK.</p><p>The South China Morning Post reported</a> some 60,000 people were expected by organizers to attend.</p><p>The rally’s organizers, Civil Human Rights Front, had opposed a government mandated starting point for the march, the paper reported, saying the location would put them in close proximity to a pro-China event also marking the anniversary.</p><p>This video shows the march on Hennessy Road, in the Wan Chai district.
