<p>San Francisco residents were warned</a> of poor air quality on July 1, as smoke and ash from fires in Lake and Yolo counties crossed the Bay Area.</p><p>People with breathing issues, children and the elderly were told to avoid exerting themselves.</p><p>Cal Fire said on July 1 that a fire covering 32,500 acres in Lake County, Napa County and Yolo County was 2 percent contained.
