Reporters waiting for Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the MACC headquarters this morning were surprised by the presence of former Felda chairperson Shahrir Abdul Samad.<br /><br />Shahrir, clad in a white shirt, had arrived earlier before Zahid, at about 9.40am.<br /><br />He is believed to have his car parked outside the building and walked in here alone.<br /><br />Speaking to media, Shahrir said he was here to have his statements recorded over "admission of receiving funds", without divulging details.
