<p>The Australian Federal Police (AFP) said it deployed</a> six expert divers on Saturday, June 30, to assist Thai authorities to rescue 12 boys and their soccer coach who were trapped in a cave in Thailand.</p><p>On Tuesday, AFP Specialist Response Group superintendent Tom Hester spoke with media</a> after the boys were found alive. He reported there were six highly trained search and rescue divers from the AFP at the scene.</p><p>Hester said they were trained in zero-visibility diving, in addition to recovery and support abilities, and were facing the dangerous challenge of navigating murky flood water, tight passages and a complex cave network.
