<p>A dinghy carrying fifteen people, including four children and a baby, was stranded in waters off Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory on Monday, July 2, after the boat’s engine failed. Those on board were rescued on Tuesday by authorities.</p><p>ABC reported</a> the boat was adrift for about 24 hours before it was located.</p><p>The boat had been travelling between Elcho Island and Milingimbi when the engine failed, leaving them drifting in choppy waters and strong currents.</p><p>Police said if they’d started their search from the southern end of the search area, it is likely they would never have found the group.
