OHara Davies believes boxing needs characters like him after stepping onto enemy turf at the Leicester Arena tonight.<br /><br />Davies has raced to 15-0 with 12 TKOs in the super lightweight division and finished the career of Derry Mathews in his last fight.<br /><br />The 25-year-old is one of the top prospects with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and took some stick for it at Frank Warren’s BoxNation show.<br /><br />Davies came to watch his friend Anthony Yarde win by first round stoppage and not to watch the British title fight between Tyrone Nurse and Joe Hughes at his weight. <br /><br />He’s adamant people really love his brash persona rather than hate it, as he talked confidently to Seconds Out reporter Craig Birch.
