Daniel Dubois rightly has high hopes for his future after tipping the scales for his second pro contest inside a month since making his debut.

The 19-year-old has turned pro with Frank Warren, rather than chase the chance of Olympic glory with Great Britain at Tokyo 2020.

Dubois is softly-spoken and still in his teenage years but has already sparred with Joshua, who takes on Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium next week.

He’s also shared a training ring with Tyson Fury, who defeated Klitschko to take most of the belts in the heavyweight division.

Some fight fans think Dubois will become the best of them all and his paid bow lasted all of 35 seconds, with Marcus Kelly clobbered in swift order.

Now comes Blaise Mendouo at the Leicester Arena tomorrow night, live on BoxNation and BT Sport, with another bout planned at the Copper Box Arena in London on May 20.
