The hometown trio for Saturday’s biggest boxing show in Leicester for nearly 25 years believe this is just the start for the city’s reintroduction to the sport.<br /><br />CJ Challenger, Jahmaine Smyle and Lyon Woodstock are beyond excited to be part of this weekend’s show at the Leicester Arena. <br /><br />Four title fights, plus a final eliminator for world honours, will take place in front of a captivated audience along with BT Sport and BoxNation viewers. <br /><br />It’s the biggest thing to happen boxing-wise in Leicester since September 1993, when Chris Pyatt defended the WBO world middleweight title at the now-demolished Granby Halls. <br /><br />Smyle defends his English super middleweight title against the unbeaten Daryll Williams over 10 rounds, with his manager Clifton Mitchell having choice words for the challenger.<br /><br />Woodstock goes for the vacant Midlands super featherweight crown against the former champion Paul Holt, also set for 10. <br /><br />Courtney Challenger Jnr - hence the CJ - looks to make it a hat-trick of victories since turning pro in a four-round super welterweight contest against Danny Little. <br /><br />The three spoke about their pride in the Leicester connection to Seconds Out reporter Craig Birch, who is also from the city!
