Thanks to strong semiconductor exports, South Korea's current account in May saw its largest surplus in 8 months.<br /> The Bank of Korea's latest balance of payments report showed... a near 9 billion U.S. dollar current account surplus in May,... its largest surplus since last September.<br />The goods account posted a surplus of near 11 billion dollars,... the largest figure since last November, on the back of strong exports.<br />But the service account posted a deficit of 2 billion dollars... due to a travel account deficit.<br />The number of Chinese visitors to South Korea increased by about 46 percent on-year,... but outbound travelers grew by nearly 16 percent. <br />
