A volcanic landspout formed over an active cinder cone at Kilauea volcano's Fissure 8 was spotted on July 3.<br /><br />The video shows the phenomenon.<br /><br />According to the filmer, the landspout developed in the area's favorable heat and wind conditions, and was more than 300 feet high.
