Seo Bobin reports.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The Choo Choo train now owns the longest on-base streak by an Asian player in the history of Major League Baseball.<br />The Texas Rangers' designated hitter kept the streak going Wednesday with a towering solo home run off the Houston Astros in the third inning at the Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.<br />Choo finished the game 2-for-4 with a sacrifice.<br />This was also his 16th home run of the season as he heads into his first All-Star Game later this month.<br /><br /> The previous holder of the on-base record for an Asian player was Ichiro Suzuki of Japan, who racked up 43 games when he was with the Seattle Mariners in 2009.<br /><br /> Choo is now tied with Otis Nixon for the second-longest on-base streak in Texas Rangers history, and he's now two away from the team's all-time record held by Julio Franco.<br /><br /> The MLB as a whole, the longest on-base streak is 84 games set by Ted Williams.<br />Seo Bo-bin, Arirang News. <br />
