<p>A fireworks barge on Lake Tahoe, near Stateline, Nevada, burst into flames</a> in the early morning of July 5, hours after it was used in a fireworks display marking for Independence Day.</p><p>The Tahoe Daily Tribune said</a> that the fireworks crew on board the barge tried, unsuccessfully, to put out the fire, which was finally extinguished by a specialized boat owned by the fire district.
