Hit-and-Run Driver Plows Into Cyclist in Florida's Pinellas Park

<p>Police in Pinellas Park, Florida, released video on July 5 showing a vehicle hitting a cyclist at the corner of Highway 19 and 70th Avenue on June 29 before fleeing the scene. Police appealed to the public for help identifying the driver.</p><p>The video shows a cyclist move halfway across the road before stalling at the edge of the median as he waits for oncoming traffic to pass. Four vehicles pass the cyclist safely before a fifth vehicle, a gold-colored Chevrolet Silverado, drifts out of the lane and collides with the cyclist as it mounts the median. The cyclist is knocked to the ground, along with his bike.</p><p>Police named the cyclist as 20-year-old Duncan Craver from St. Petersburg, Florida, and said he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
