<p>A small group of protesters picketed the July 5 reopening of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, from which White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was turned away in June.</p><p>The protesters held signs with slogans such as “No Civility, No Peas”, and “Red Hen 2018 = 1960 Woolworth Lunch Counter” – a reference to a restaurant that refused to serve people of color.
