A Chinese man was captured playing a Japanese ballad with a musical saw in northern China's Jilin Province in April last year.<br /><br />In the video, a man named Liang Linsheng uses a metal saw to play a song called "The Spring in Northern Country" with an accompaniment.<br /><br />Musical saws, also called singing saws, can be heard in the folk music of Russia and rural America.<br /><br />The over 60-year-old Liang has played a musical saw for 14 years and has received many international awards.
