According to Reuters, new tariffs were imposed on $34 billion worth of Chinese goods, escalating trade tensions between Washington and Beijing.<br />President Donald Trump already threatened to impose additional tariffs if China's government retaliates, but rhetoric from the Trump administration has been blunt and dramatic.<br />After announcing tariffs on $34 billions of goods, Trump upped the ante even further by threatening to tariff an additional $500 billion goods. <br />
