LG Display is leading the global AMOLED market for smartwatch display panels. <br /> Data from market researcher I-H-S Markit shows the South Korean tech giant was the top supplier in the industry last year.<br />The company accounted for more than 41 percent of the global market share…or ten-point-six-four million units.<br />Industry watchers say its performance was backed by bumper shipments to Apple, which makes the Apple Watch.<br />Among the other major players was Samsung Display… making up almost 35 percent of the global market... at some nine million units. <br />
