Federal Territories Minister Khalid Samad said that it would take some time before local council elections could be held as there are several issues that needed to be addressed first.<br /><br />He said the government was going to that direction but the timeframe was flexible and the immediate action was to make sure that elected representatives have a role in DBKL.
