Starbucks is joining a growing movement by companies to ditch plastic. <br /> The coffee shop giant announced Monday it would eliminate single-use plastic straws from all of its stores globally by 2020.<br />Instead, it will use straws made from other materials and recyclable lids that are designed to not need straws.<br />Starbucks joins the likes of McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts which have made similar plans to be more environmentally friendly. <br />
