The U.S. government is having trouble reuniting immigrant families it separated at the border with Mexico.<br />Reuters reports only half the children under age 5 will be with their parents by Tuesday.<br />The government said it would reunite the approximately 100 children under the age of 5 by Tuesday.<br />It said it would reunite the estimated 2,000 older children by July 26.<br />A U.S. Department of Justice attorney said some of the children cannot be reunited with their parents.<br />She said they've been deported, failed a background check, or were unable to prove they were the parent. <br />
