Extra TV is reporting that actor Tab Hunter is dead at age 86.<br />Hunter was the epitome of the blond teen heartthrob in the '50s.<br />He had a successful career as a pop singer.<br />Later, he parodied his sex-symbol image in the John Waters film "Polyester," has died.<br />Hunter's passing was announced on the Facebook page of the 2015 documentary about his life.<br />He is survived by his longtime partner Allan Glaser. <br />
