Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed today that the new Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) executive chairperson will be receiving a pay cut.<br /><br />On the appointment of a new chairperson, Loke said that he has recommended someone to the prime minister, but it is the prerogative of the latter to appoint.<br /><br />Loke had revealed that the former Mavcom chairperson salary was approximately RM85,000 a month – nearly four times more than what the prime minister earns.
