UMW Toyota Motor has recently introduced an all new, locally assembled Camry to Malaysia - 2.5L Hybrid and 2.0-litre G and E variants.<br /><br />The Camry Hybrid model comes with impressive new safety features such as 7-airbags, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert system which is useful when reversing out of a parking space, as well as Nano-e TM purifier, an air cleaning system that purifies the air with negative ions. It also offers first in its class wireless charger for users to just drop and charge their compatible smart phones.<br /><br />Besides all the technological advances, the Camry Hybrid also surpasses expectations when it comes to performance. The New Camry Hybrid comes with over 200 horsepower, and excellent fuel economy.<br /><br />The Hybrid and G variants also come with Hill Start Assist which has the capability of preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting on a slope while ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution and airbag systems are offered to all variants.<br /><br />As for the new Toyota Camry 2.0-litre G and E variants, these now equipped with 6-speed auto transmission and a top-class powerful brand new petrol engine that churns out 167ps which includes a new Variable Valve Timing – Intelligent Wide system that allows engine to run on both conventional and Atkinson cycle. The New Toyota Camry 2.0-litre G and E variants aimed to achieve high power output, best fuel economy and low emissions.<br /><br />The New Camry is priced from RM149,900 – RM174,900, with 8 years assurance program on the hybrid battery . Standard vehicle warranty of 3 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first, is applied to both Hybrid and 2.0L.
