Brush Fire Sparks Evacuation of Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles

<p>A brush fire that broke out near Griffith Park in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, July 10, sparked the evacuation</a> of more than 2,000 people from the Griffith Observatory.</p><p>The Griffith Park Fire, which started around 2 pm, burned through 25 acres and was 80 percent contained by about 5 pm, according to</a> the Los Angeles Fire Department.</p><p>Eric Scott, fire captain and public information officer at the Los Angeles Fire Department, said</a> a few vehicles were burned by the fire, but there were no injuries and no threats to any structures.</p><p>This video was shared online on July 10.
