Korea's southeastern city of Busan has been named the best place to visit in Asia by Lonely Planet.<br /> The travel guidebook ranked the city top of its '2018 Best in Asia list'... lauding its (QUOTE) "stunning confluence of scenery, culture and cuisine."<br /> It highlighted Busan's picturesque beaches and Buddhist temples sitting on hilltops.... as well as its vibrant cultural events,... from street art festivals to traditional dance shows.<br />Saying that Busan offers something for everyone,... the guide also recommends travelers feast on the wide selection of fresh seafood at Jagalchi,... Korea's largest fish market.<br />The Lonely Planet list introduces 10 places in Asia each year. <br />Uzbekistan and Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City came in second and third, respectively, on this year's list. <br />
