Thai Navy Pays Tribute to Cave Rescue Crew

<br /> <p>The Royal Thai Navy paid tribute</a> on July 11 its SEALs and other rescue workers who successfully rescued a youth soccer team and their coach from a flooded cave in Thailand’s Chiang Rai province.</p><p>The Navy released new footage of emergency crews diving through the cave and carrying people out on stretchers.</p><p>The 12 boys and their coach were rescued after becoming trapped in the cave on June 23. The final five victims were rescued on July 10, the Bangkok Post reported</a>, after divers first reached them on July 2.</p><p>One navy SEAL officer, Saman Gunan, died during the rescue operation on July 6.
