<p>Sheriff Chody from the Williamson County Sheriff Office in Austin, Texas, recently carried out a “heroic act” when he saved a turtle from the middle of the road.</p><p>Footage shared to Twitter on July 9 shows the sheriff attempting to shoo the creature from the highway. However, it appears the turtle may not be a biggest fan of the cops as it fled (at surprising speed) from Sheriff Chody almost as soon as he tried to lift it.</p><p>The video had over 1,800 likes at the time of writing.
