Twitter.com/swns Instagram.com/swns<br /><br />This is the adorable baby hedgehog found abandoned by its mum - because of her extremely rare BLONDE colour.<br /><br />Tiny Blondie the female hoglet was left out in the open in the middle of a garden, leaving the baby mammal vulnerable to predators.<br /><br />It is believed the two-week-old - whose softer spikes make her an easier target - was abandoned by her mother due to her unusual colour caused by a rare recessive gene.<br /><br />But Blondie was taken in by satellite charity Help A Hedgehog Hospital - and is now thriving and being cared for.
