<p>Firefighters were called to tackle a large brush fire near a highway in Irwindale, California on Wednesday, July 11.</p><p>The blaze erupted at 15501 East Arrow Highway, according to a tweet from the LA County Fire Department</a>.</p><p>By about 6 pm, the fire had burned 25 acres and was 50 per cent contained, NBC Los Angeles reported</a>. The 210 Freeway remained open but motorists were advised to avoid the area, according to the report.
