<p>The Irving Police Department urged road users to use caution on July 11 after one of its officers was nearly hit by a car while working on a highway.</p><p>FOX 4 reported</a> that Officer Sam Hall had pulled a driver over on Highway 114 on July 3, prompting other drivers to slow down as they passed.</p><p>Body camera footage shows one vehicle approaching at a high speed and swerving into the hard shoulder, where Hall was standing, forcing him to jump out of the way.</p><p>Photos show the officer’s bike was damaged in the incident.
