한미 방위비분담 5차회의 18∼19일 美시애틀서 개최<br /><br /> Seoul and Washington will hold more talks on defense costs sharing next week.<br />South Korea's chief negotiator Chang Won-sam will sit down with his American counterpart, Timothy Betts, for the fifth session of the 10th Special Measures Agreement in Seattle next Wednesday and Thursday.<br /> They'll discuss how to share the costs of maintaining U.S. troops on the peninsula, even when the combined military drills have been suspended for now. <br />The two sides are running out of time to reach an agreement, as the existing SMA deal is scheduled to expire at the end of the year.<br />Seoul has shared the financial burden of the U.S. Forces Korea since 1991. <br />
