<p>Build-A-Bear stores were forced to shut down</a> on July 12 after the store’s “Pay Your Age” promotional event brought huge crowds around the United States.</p><p>According to the store’s official website,</a> stores were told to no longer accept guests at their U.S. stores per local authorities “due to crowd and safety concerns.”</p><p>Caitlin Bormann shared footage of a line of parents and children in Davenport, Iowa, that appeared to wrap around the local mall. “10/10 would not recommend going to build a bear at Northpark.
