<p>Crews from New York, Vermont and Canada were responding to a 300-acre forest fire near Altona Flat Rock in New York’s Clinton County, close to the US-Canada border, that began on July 12 and continued to burn on July 13, according to NBC 5</a>.</p><p>Gov. Andrew Cuomo deployed Forest Rangers on July 12 to assist with the fire. The New York State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services tweeted</a> on July 13 that more than 40 state personnel were on hand to assist local officials.</p><p>No structures had been destroyed and no injuries were reported as of July 13, according to the Press Republican</a>.
